The software allows you to:
- Monitor and record the sensor readings, either at the grow room or remotely, with the optional modem. Data are recorded in a spreadsheet compatible format.
- Change the control loop deadbands, and the setpoints of all of the control functions.
- Modify timer settings.
ACCESSORIES
MODEM
Modems allow you to contact your grow room while you are across town or thousands of miles away. The modem connects to the controller directly (without the need for a computer on-site), allowing access to the system even while you are away. The DOS software supports modems up to 9600 baud, the Windows software supports to 19,200 baud.
AUTODIALER
An autodialer will call one of four phone numbers and report alarm conditions whenever they happen. Add alarm sensors as necessary, such as:
- low level detectors on the nutrient and pH tanks
- high and low temperature alarms.
- water leak detector.
- intrusion alarms.
Phone Line Sharing
The autodialer and modem share the same phone line, with the modem answering incoming modem calls and the dialer calling out alarm conditions.
